The short version. The app is a calculation aid. Your school's official transcript is what counts. Pro is sold through Google Play, under its billing terms.
These terms apply when you download or use GPA Calculator (“the app”), published by Scanly Studio. By using the app you agree to them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
The app calculates from the grading scale you choose and from what you type in. Schools differ in grade values, rounding, repeated and transfer courses, and in which courses count, so a figure in the app can differ from your transcript. Check anything that matters, such as admission, scholarship, honors or graduation requirements, with your school or registrar.
Tracking your GPA, the plan and all five calculators are free. Pro unlocks the what-if line, the GPA trend and PDF reports, and is offered as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the price shown on the plan screen before you confirm. Purchases are processed by Google Play. A yearly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Google Play account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you keep Pro until that period ends. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy. See the support page for how to cancel, restore, or request a refund.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it is error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and that includes the accuracy of any table, formula, or result.
To the extent the law allows, Scanly Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage, or for any loss arising from reliance on a result of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law where you live.
What the app stores, and where, is described in the privacy policy. In short: on your phone only.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and material changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
